Day-1 Launch: Go Public
On day one, make your internship public. Update your LinkedIn headline, add this internship to your Experience, and publish a short post that you have started — tagging KaryoSetu. Tap your Get Hired Kit for ready-made copy.
Submit: LinkedIn headline + Experience updated, plus your live day-1 post URL and a screenshot (tagging KaryoSetu).
Setup & Your First Screen
Set up Flutter and build your first KaryoSetu screen to spec — your dev environment becomes your workshop.
Submit: Screenshots of a working "Hello Setu" screen + a link to your code (repo/gist)
Build a Reusable Listing Card
KaryoSetu is full of listings. Build a clean, reusable ListingCard widget from our spec — the kind of component used across the whole app.
Submit: Widget code + a screenshot showing 3 cards with different data
Learn in Public
Real professionals build an audience by sharing what they learn. Post one specific thing you learned this week on LinkedIn, tagging KaryoSetu — turn your progress into proof and reach.
Submit: A live LinkedIn post URL sharing one learning + a screenshot showing the KaryoSetu tag.
AI Pair-Programming: Search & Filter
Use an AI coding assistant to add live search/filter to a sample list — then prove you can spot and fix what the AI gets wrong.
Submit: Code + the AI prompts you used + a "what I corrected" note
Phase 2: Skill Building
4 missionsAI-powered missions, advanced craft, and your capstone project.
KaryoSetu Build #1 — Wire It to Data: States
A screen that only works on a fast connection with perfect data is a demo, not an app. Wire a screen to a data source and handle the four real states: loading, empty, error, and data.
Submit: A screen wired to data handling loading/empty/error/data + a short note on each state
KaryoSetu Build #2 — Offline-Friendly Form
Your capstone: build a form that validates input and works offline — saving locally and syncing later. This is the real pattern behind rural-first apps.
Submit: Code + a short demo (video or step-by-step screenshots)
KaryoSetu Build #3 — Rural-First Pass
KaryoSetu runs on cheap phones, slow networks, and in three languages for users who may not read well. Take one screen and make it truly rural-first: accessible, localized, and fast.
Submit: A before/after of one screen + an a11y/i18n/perf checklist with what you changed
Field Mission — Ship Something for a Real Business
Take your skills to a real person. Find one small business or worker you can reach, set up or build ONE useful thing that helps them get found or work better, and help them onto KaryoSetu.
Submit: What you built/set up (link or screenshots) + a photo or note from the owner (with consent) + their KaryoSetu listing (or proof you helped them join).
Phase 3: Portfolio & Launch
3 missionsBuild your proof, pitch yourself, graduate with a bang.
Build Your Portfolio & Proof
Your work only counts if a recruiter can see it. Curate everything you have built into a sharable portfolio and write the one resume line that sells this internship.
Submit: Your KaryoSetu portfolio link + a 4-6 line portfolio summary + your one-line resume bullet.
The Reverse Interview
Practice selling yourself. Prepare a sharp "why hire me" pitch and answers to 3 classic interview questions — each backed by real evidence from this internship.
Submit: Your 60-second pitch (text or recording) + answers to 3 interview questions with portfolio evidence.
Fix Real Bugs & Go Public
Squash three real-world bugs, then ship in public: post your build and tag KaryoSetu so your work is visible to people who hire developers.
Submit: Before/after of 3 bug fixes + a live LinkedIn post URL + screenshot (tagging KaryoSetu)
